Obituary for Theresa Turner Burroughs
The Rollins family and Staff of Rollins' Mortuary announce with deepest sympathy the passing of Mrs. Theresa Turner Burroughs, age 89, of Greensboro, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 1pm at St. Matthew AME Church, Greensboro. Rev. Steven Bennett, pastor. Rev. Joseph Davis officiated. Burial followed in Weaver Cemetery, Greensboro with Rollins' Mortuary directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Safe House Black History Museum, c/o The Bank of Moundville, Moundville,AL.
